Anti-Bullying Week/ Odd Sock Day 2020
Odd Sock Day - Monday 16th November 2020
This week (16th-20th November), our school have taken part in Anti-Bullying week. On Monday, the children and staff took part in 'Odd Sock Day. It is a lovely, simple way to celebrate that we are all unique.
Anti-Bullying week - United against Bullying
The theme for anti-bullying week this year is 'United against Bullying'.
It is based around the message that we’re all a piece in the puzzle, and together, we’re united against bullying, During anti-bullying week, the children took part in a special virtual assembly from Mrs Cross where we discussed what bullying is and how we can be united against bullying.
Following this, we spent an extra RSHE session around the theme of anti-bullying. We asked the children to think about how they could unite against bullying and what part they could play.
Each child completed a jigsaw puzzle piece to show what part they were going to play to unite against bullying. We also completed some other activities as part of our sessions, have a look at the pictures of our fantastic work below.
Ask your child what they know about bullying and how our school deals with this.
The work produced from anti-bullying week is used to update our displays around school.
